Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Go Mountain Soul, we strive to provide the best travel experiences. We understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms applicable to cancellations and refunds for our travel services.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after the required advance payment has been received and a confirmation has been issued by Go Mountain Soul.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to contact@gomountainsoul.in or through our official customer support channels.
The effective cancellation date will be the date on which we receive the cancellation request.
Cancellation charges may vary depending on the hotel, transport provider, activity operator, airline, or other third-party suppliers involved in your booking.
Unless otherwise specified at the time of booking, the following general cancellation policy applies:

| No Show / Early Departure | 100% of the booking amount |
Certain promotional offers, special packages, peak season bookings, flights, train tickets, permits, and non-refundable hotel reservations may not be eligible for cancellation or refund.
3. Refund Policy
Eligible refunds will be processed after deducting:
- Applicable cancellation charges
- Hotel or supplier cancellation fees
- Government taxes (where non-refundable)
- Payment gateway charges (if applicable)
- Any non-recoverable expenses already incurred
Refunds will be credited using the original payment method whenever possible.
4. Refund Processing Time
Once approved, refunds are generally processed within 7–14 business days.
Actual credit timelines may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment service provider.
5. Cancellation by Go Mountain Soul
Go Mountain Soul reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Landslides
- Floods
- Heavy snowfall
- Road closures
- Government restrictions
- Political unrest
- Supplier unavailability
- Force majeure events
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to:
- Offer an alternative travel arrangement, or
- Refund the recoverable amount received from our suppliers.
Go Mountain Soul shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses such as flight cancellations, visa expenses, or personal travel costs.
6. Amendments to Bookings
Any request to modify a booking (such as changing travel dates, destination, hotel, or traveler details) is subject to availability and may incur additional charges imposed by suppliers or service providers.
7. Non-Refundable Services
The following are generally non-refundable unless stated otherwise:
- Flight tickets
- Train tickets
- Entry permits
- Visa fees
- Travel insurance
- Special event bookings
- Promotional or discounted packages
- Services already utilized
8. Force Majeure
No refunds shall be payable for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Go Mountain Soul, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Earthquakes
- Floods
- Pandemics
- Government-imposed restrictions
- War
- Civil unrest
- Acts of God
Refunds in such situations will depend solely on the refund policies of the respective service providers.
